Functional Health Journey

Are you searching for natural health solutions?

Several years ago, my health was on the decline and I was struggling to find answers.  After many doctor visits, I realized I needed a different answer since nothing seemed to make a difference.  I began my journey to find an alternative solution to improve my health and discovered functional medicine.  I started to experience positive changes and realized this approach was the key to my recovery.  It was exactly what I needed and began to feel like my old self again.

This prompted a desire to expand my education as I realized that functional nutrition had the most impact. I reshaped my entire approach to wellness – and now, I’m here to help guide you.

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in Texas, I offer 20+ years of experience, and hold a board certification from the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA). I am also a certified LEAP therapist with Oxford Biomedical Technologies.

My professional journey began in England providing nutrition counseling with primary care physicians. Subsequently, I spent 15+ years in Texas in a clinical setting providing MNT (Medical Nutrition Therapy) for individuals with varying degrees of acuity and medical conditions ranging from diabetes to weight management to gastrointestinal disorders.

In my pursuit of a more holistic understanding of health, I worked at a leading functional medicine clinic in Dallas. I was able to hone my skills and expanded my knowledge base, driven by motivation to find innovative ways to support health and healing.

My passion is fueled by the power of a personalized root cause approach to healing and the genuine difference it can make. Giving back and sharing what I’ve learned is the keystone of my practice.  Having navigated and overcome my health challenges, I bring empathy, understanding and a strong commitment to partner with you on your journey to improved health.

Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about living a balanced life.  I look for nature’s peace, the escape of a good book, and the creation of lasting memories with my family and friends.  It is in these moments, and through daily meditation and gratitude, that I am reminded of the precious gift of health.

If you’re living with chronic symptoms and thinking it’s just part of life, I encourage you to think again and invite you to join me on a path to wellness that is comprehensive, led by compassion, and tailored to you!  Let’s connect to explore how I can help you address your health concerns naturally!
